it's been roughly about a month or two since we've all started college.

How's everyone doing?

Hola guys&gals,
Today was my first day of college. I go to a cummunity..*Riverside Community College* and was like soo different from High School. Well I knew it would be but it's weird to go from  the circus of a h.s. I went to,to a very calm college.
One thing I am not use to is paying attention to little details. Although my teacher was nice she said it clearly, she does not care if you don't get your assignments in on time, she will not accept late work.  What I do like is taking classes you want and going at your time.
The only thing that sucked was parking..not because crowded*well it was ;) * but because I was driving my dad's car *newish 06 honda* and almost hit the car beside me lol.
And books~my goodness!

So has anyone else started college?
If so what did you like about college and what didn't you?

USAFA BCT was SICK. It was freaking hard, but overall, it was fun. I enjoyed it :)

I got to shoot M16 rounds at targets, and then in Scnario Warrior Ops, I got to shoot M16 blanks at my friends and at "terrorists". I worked a CEP and got to kill a sucide bomber, i got to crowd surf, sit in a plane with people and watch them jump out of it, do the obstacle and assualt courses, diving for grenades and crawling under barbed wire with small arms fire... USAFA is not a normal college... its hard but fun. The Ac year ain't so bad either, you have friends here for life, ive only been in CO since late june, and I've already made lifelong friends and had unforgettable times. You should transfer to USAFA next year... but yea.

Anyways even though ive been in "college" for a while, a bunch of you are starting tomorrow, and i just wanted to say good luck. CHEM 100 sucks.

So the summer has zipped by.

I now live in the bay area, california, away from all that i've ever known.
I love it.
I feel like I can now create myself away from what I've been.

School starts next monday.
I'm still trying to get classes and they are filling up like CRAZY
My boy has moved to San Francisco for school
and there are so many changes going on.

It's rather overwhelming, if anything, a tad bit depressing.
Is anybody else feeling blue at times for what seems to be no reason at all?

In just two days, I'll be leaving home on a 6/7-hour drive to Berkeley. I've been packing throughout the week. I feel like I'm taking WAY too much. I have 2 suitcase bags, 2 cardboard boxes, and 2 big shopping bags filled with just my clothes. I have to confess that I like variety and hate wearing the same thing. Besides the clothing, there is so much more that I'm taking up there.

Anyone else in a packing predicament?

Hi everybody... I see that everyone is posting what's happned since they've graduated... well, my graduated life doesn't feel any different than any other year.  I graduated in May and in August I start school again.  It's the same routine for me, lol.  I am going to go to VHCC and take Business Administration.  I am going to miss high school so much!!
