1st year
So I was just browsing and thinking about this community.  How did each one of your first year of either college or work or whatever it is that you did go for you?  Did you gain the infamous "freshman fifteen", did you finally break out of your shell and become more outgoing?  How was the workload for everyone?

For me I had a blast this year.  It's crazy but I can't believe that the first year is over for me just about in a week.  Today was the last day of classes and now Finals start on Thursday for us.  I must say though that I am going to miss so many people in my dorm, I've made amazing friends and I can't believe that we've only been in school for 9 months but I felt like I knew them my entire life.  I must say I didn't change that much though, stayed the same but did become a little bit more outgoing and I didn't gain the freshman fifteen which I must say I am happy about.

Eh, college was rough and was so different than what I expected- I figured I'd be having the time of my life socially and classes would be blah, but it was the absolute opposite. Classes were AMAZING and my social life sucked.

I had ZERO complaints about classes. I made Dean's List first semester. :) I also took my first (of hopefully many) honors courses. I was never great in school and so my grades were so important.

Things sucked socially. I was sexually harrassed first semester but no one (except by then-RA's) did anything about it.

This semester I had a vicious rumor spread about me. It ruined my reputation and since administration found out about it, they had to take action. It has resulted in me being rejected from EVERY leadership opportunity I applied for, which I am otherwise qualified for. My dad is getting involved, so fingers crossed that I get the next position that I want!

Uggh, but I learned so much academically and would not trade that for anything.
